ADC and DWI
FLAIRA male neonate with bilirubin 48 mg/dl, had seizures on 6th day of life. MRI done one day later showed hyperitnense GP and STN on FLAIR images.
No change seen in ADC and T2.
Hyperintense signal seen on T1WI -which may be unreliable, as on 3T MRI these areas can also appear hyperintense in normal neonates.
